Journey in Cognitive science
My Journey in cognitive science started in a naive manner without the rigor of sound experimental process and reasoning for building theories. The problem of understanding vision and structural elements of semantic segmentation were my primary areas of interest early on. The anisotropic diffusion approach to using a heat equation to extract relevant information from an image was interesting. Perona and Mailk used the familiar heat equation which describes the conductance of heat over a medium to answer questions about continuity and smoothness of visual information.
